a5c7b9f00b A government agent trains Cody Banks in the ways of covert operations that require younger participants. A government agent trains a typical teenager Cody Banks who loves to skateboard, hates math, and feels like a complete idiot around girls, in the ways of covert operations that require younger participants. But Cody's got a secret–he's actually part of a secret teen CIA program. Cody's living every boy's dream life–he can drive like a stunt man, has an incredible arsenal of cool gadgets, and his agency mentor, Ronica Miles, is totally hot. But Cody's training is put to the test when he's sent to posea prep school student and befriend fellow teen Natalie Connors in order to gain access to her father–a scientist unknowingly developing a fleet of deadly pair of twisted villains called the nanobots for the evil organization ERIS, which can destroy any carbon or silicon-based substance-to destroy the world's defense systems so he can threaten anyone who opposes him. From runaway cars and high-speed snowboard chases to a spectacular final mountaintop showdown, Cody has to use everything he's learned to prove himselfan agent and stop ERIS from completing their mission before their mission fails. Okay not absolutely everyone but at least I got your attention.

Agent Cody Banks is a great movie and I recommend it highly to teenagers and adults alike who want some megaaction entertainment for two hours.

Frankie Muniz is my favorite actor and he hasalways performed well in this movie. The dialogue in the moviewith the story is funny although I admit the plot isn't realistic at all, hey it's for enjoyment so don't be too hard on the movie! My favorite part was where Cody first meets Natalie :) how he's nervous really demonstrates how a real teenager would feel like.

About the special ed jokes I agree it was somewhat stupid but it was funny the first time. There was no need for it to be repeated twice.

The fight scenes were the best, Cody has some REAL martial arts skills which really makes the movie even better altogether.

Have fun and watch Agent Cody Banks!! With an action comedy film having a couple of teenagersthe lead stars, I was expecting a movie with goofy humor, amateurish action scenes, typical teenage bop elements and sappy puppy love romance. However, this movie turned out to be a pretty pleasant viewing experience - a movie about shy teenager Cody Banks (Frankie Muniz), who is an undercover CIA agent under orders to date Natalie Connors (Hillary Duff) so he could spy on her scientist father, Dr. Connors (Martin Donovan).

The acting was actually pretty good - not over the top and not borderline irritating - and the plot to the movie flows quite steadily (not very fast-paced, but does not drag too muchwell). While young and naive, Muniz and Duff did pull off their roles professionally and seriously. You'll get an old-fashion James Bond-style spy action and some very charming humor, and you'll get a good dose of special effects for its action scenes, but they are nothing too overdone or explosive.

I first saw this film on a plane and, while I don't remember too much from the film, I do recall it entertained me for the 102 minutes out of the multi-hour plane ride. Overall, it is not a bad movie for the entire family.

Grade B- The young stars have considerable natural chemistry and do their best to make the rehashed material approachable and entertaining while maintaining their kid-friendly images.
